MARYLOU JOSEPH, A.R.A.D. BALLET - Ballet, Pointe & Body Conditioning
"Mrs. J" began her Royal Academy of Dance Ballet training at the age of 9 in North Vancouver. By the age of 17 she had passed all of the required Examinations including Advanced, which allowed her to become an Associate of the Royal Academy of Dance. She performed in Vancouver with Ballet Horizons and Pacific Ballet Theatre. She began her teaching career in Prince George and then moved to Kamloops, where she earned her Teacher's Certificate. Mrs. J. teaches all levels of Ballet and loves to choreograph for Festivals and Performances.
LAURA BISHOP
LAURA BISHOP - Tap, Jazz, Musical Theatre & PreSchool
Laura started her dance training in Calgary at the age of 4 and is trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Acting and Voice. Laura has studied with Brenda Bufalino, Dianne Walker, Lane Alexander, Brian Foley & Joe Tremaine. Along with teaching dance, Laura sings the occasional radio jingle and performs with her band "LINCOLN HAZE". Laura also travels to judge competitions and teaches master classes throughout western Canada. Having danced all her life, Laura is proud to be able to nurture young dancers and their love of performing.
